MUSIC EDUCATION IN ISLAMIC STATE-STATE.

Apart from the preparation of the book is devoted to music at the end of the Umayyad Daula. At that time the caliphs and other officials give great attention in the development of music education. (See Prof.. Hasmy A., History of Islamic culture, p.. 320-321).

Many music schools established by Muslim countries in various cities and regions, both middle school and high school levels. The most complete music school was founded and organized by Sa'id 'Abd-ul-Mu'min (d. 1294 AD).
One of the reasons why the State of Abbasids founded a music school is because a lot of singing and musical skills to be one of the requirements for the servants (slaves), caregivers, ladies in waiting at court and in the home country or any official in the homes of the wealthy to get a job. Because it has become a necessity for young men and women to study music. (See Prof.. A. Hasjmy, ibidem, p.. 322).
Among the servants (jawari) or singers and women who become penyannyi in the palace countries recorded their names as follows (See Prof. A. Hasjmy, ibidem, p.. 324-326):

The singer, among others:
1. Ma'bad.
2. Al-Kharid.
3. Two brothers Hakam and 'Umar Al-Wady.
4. Fulaih ibn Abi 'aura,
5. Siyāth.
6. Nasyīth.
7. Ibrahim al-Mausully and his son Isaac al-Mausully.

The biduanitanya among other things:
1. Neam (palace of the Caliph Ma'mun ladies).
2. Bazel and Substance-ul-Khal (ladies in the palace of the Caliph Harun al-Rashid).
3. Basbas (ladies in the palace of the Caliph al-Mahdi).
4. Habhabah (ladies pleasure Caliph Yazid I), and
5. Sallamah (ladies palace Khlīfah Yazid II).
